A worker can forget to lift up the derail sign after throwing the derail block onto the rail.

A derail without a visible warning sign is a hazard to rail traffic.

The new Aldon Pop-Up Derail virtually eliminates that danger. When you throw the derail onto the rail the sign automatically pops up. When you throw the derail off the rail the sign goes down by gravity below the top of the rail.

The Pop-up sign holder is permanently attached to the derail frame.

The Pop-Up feature is available for all our hinged models: two-way (as illustrated), one-way left throw, and one-way right throw.

Use with or without the optional lifting lever.
